Bellevue Literary Press
Literary Fiction, Literary Non-fiction

Bellevue Literary Press has been publishing prize-winning books since 2007. It is the first and only non-profit press dedicated to literary fiction and non-fiction at the intersection of the arts and sciences.
Originally housed in historic Bellevue Hospital, BLP was established as a project of the New York University School of Medicine. The press departed NYU in the fall of 2018 to become a fully independent, non-profit publisher. BLP depends on contributions from individuals and foundations for its operations.
Bellevue books are distributed nationwide to bookstores and other outlets, including wholesalers, libraries, and specialty markets, by Consortium Book Sales and Distribution.
Bellevue Literary Press Submissions
Unsolicited submissions okay. No agent required.
“Due to the many demands on our small staff, we unfortunately can no longer consider unsolicited submissions year-round. Instead, we will be offering open reading periods when possible. Please stay tuned.”
