About

What are Flashbytes? Catering to today’s ADD masses, Flashbytes are complete stories in 5 minutes or less. That’s how this site started, anyway. Now, it’s HQ for the REAL WRITER’S MARKET and all its friends. Seems they’ve taken over the place.

Flashbytes is the brain child of 20th-century holdout Philip Loyd. It’s still a place where authors can gather for a quick read, or even check out the current publishing scene.

We also know quite a few agents, editors, and publishers in the biz. Stay tuned’ we’re always adding something.

Flashbytes was created by author Philip Loyd.

FLASHBYTES: THE WHOLE STORY IN 5 MINUTES OR LESS.

Our beloved founder…

Before trying his hand at fiction, Philip Loyd spent a lifetime as a financial and insurance writer, contributing to Forbes, McGraw Hill, and Jim Kramer’s The Street, among others. Loyd now writes fiction and reference books exclusively.
