About Elizabeth & Minnie Publishing

Once upon a time…

…there were two women living different, yet beautifully similar lives. They filled their days with work that spoke to them, and their evenings with books that inspired them. One night, both women began to have a recurring dream. The dream saw each of them surrounded by a mountain of books which they handed out to a never ending line of women.

Jeanell English and Tanya Sam were introduced by a mutual friend, who saw commonality in what the two women were building independently. Elizabeth and Minnie Publishing is their commitment to breaking the mold and enabling greater access to the communities whose stories are not championed enough.

Once a submission is received, it is reviewed by one of their editors who will assess content, subject matter, and suitability considering our unique mission. It is important to us to take the time to carefully review all submissions, please note that response times may take up to six weeks.
