Founded in Fairbanks, Alaska, in 1988, Epicenter Press is a regional press publishing non-fiction books about the arts, history, environment, and diverse cultures and lifestyles of Alaska and the Pacific Northwest.

Now located in Kenmore, WA, Epicenter has published more than 175 titles covering a broad range of non-fiction touching on history, memoirs, biographies, adventure, aviation, humor, true crime, mystery and the unexplained, sled dog mushing, women’s stories, and Native American culture.

Epicenter Press publishes non-fiction and fiction that relates to Alaska including biography, fiction, select memoirs, history, humor, life in the North, Native American culture, true crime.

Epicenter is looking for fiction and non-fiction submissions related to Alaska and the Pacific Northwest: biography & memoir, history, humor, life in the North, Native American culture, and true crime.

They prefer word counts between 50,000 to 100,000 words.

They are not currently accepting works of horror fiction, sci-fi/fantasy, poetry, or children’s titles.
