Blydyn Square Books is a small press with a mission: to make people think. We think Blydyn Square is a diamond in the rough.

The Blydyn Square saga begins with Tara Tomczyk, an editor who was tired of the same old books over and over again. Sound familiar? She decided to start a publishing house to put out the kind of books she would like to read. What kinds are those? Any kind, just as long as they’re good.

Blydyn Square Books is always eager to discover new authors, people who might think they have no shot at getting a contract from a bigger publishing house but who have true talent and something interesting to say.

“We’re looking for writers who can make us—and our readers—think.”

Blydyn Square likes pretty much anything with a pulse. They do, however, have a few pet peeves: no romance, fantasy, science fiction, short-story collections, or poetry. They also don’t publish novellas or works under about 65,000 words.

To submit your work, send just the first 50 pages. That’s all!
