Submission tips

Cahill Davis is looking for full-length (around 60,000 words minimum), commercial genre fiction. They do not currently accept manuscripts with a lot of images. They also do not currently accept literary fiction or Kid’s books; this includes Young Adult (YA).

How much does it pay?

Cahill Davis does not give out advances but they do pay competitive royalty rates. These are paid quarterly with full sales reports provided. They pay an average royalty of 40% of publisher compensation for eBooks, paperbacks and audiobooks. 40% seems to be the going rate for digital-first publishers.

They seem to be a quality publisher. Their titles look good.
