Literature in Translation
Balestier Press is dedicated to promoting cultural diversity in writing and publishing, and one way we achieve this is by welcoming submissions of translated literature, especially from Asian languages.
If you have a proposal for a literary translation work, they encourage you to send a synopsis, a sample translation, and details about both the author and translator. You can send your proposal to editor@balestier.com for our consideration.

Balestier welcomes original manuscripts in various genres like fiction, poetry, short stories, graphic novels, creative non-fiction, memoirs. They also encourage submissions of translated works and literary studies.
All manuscripts must be in English.
