About Gallery Press
The Gallery Press was established in 1970 to publish the work of writers who are Irish by birth, residence, citizenship (or who have applied for citizenship). Since then, many of the poets they published have become established, leading figures. Other poets have joined the list from different publishers, some of these English-based. They also publish plays.
For more than fifty years The Gallery Press has set and maintained standards of excellence in the publishing of Irish poetry and drama. More than 500 titles, distinguished by careful, caring editing by the founder, Peter Fallon, and simple elegant design, record the achievement of Ireland’s outstanding literary figures.

Gallery Press Submissions
Unsolicited submissions ok, but Irish only (with sometimes an exception for established UK authors). Please don’t submit novels, historical romances, autobiographies, biographies, children’s books, etc.
The Press is Par Avion, meaning they don’t accept submissions by e-mail or fax. Please mail your ms by old-school postal.
