Barroom Brawl by Philip Loyd

“All of a sudden a barroom broke out. How do you know when a barroom brawl breaks out? It’s just like in the movies. First, a chair gets kicked out. Then, someone breaks a bottle in half. Then, arms start spinning around like airplane propellers. It all happens in just a matter of seconds, and there’s yelling and screaming all throughout.”

Read the whole bar-brawling story…

Before trying his hand at fiction, Philip Loyd spent a lifetime as a financial and insurance writer, contributing to Forbes, McGraw Hill, and Jim Kramer’s The Street, among others. Loyd now writes fiction and reference books exclusively.. Titles available at Amazon.com.

  1. Our brawl is not complete until the place is cleared of scurrying spectators – Not to mention the guy sliding down the bar, blood gushing from his smashed nose – His assailant still upright, but he’ll have a mean, blackened eye in the morning. All in all, its a common flashbyte of the mentally challenged drunks that can always be found having crawled inside a bottle of some kind of alcohol.
