The O’Brien Press has been publishing great books for 50 years.

The O’Brien Press is Ireland’s leading independent publisher of both adult and children’s books. Brandon is an imprint of O’Brien. The Brandon imprint, originally founded by Steve McDonogh, was acquired by O’Brien Press after McDonogh’s untimely death.

O’Brien has been working with talented authors and illustrators for more than forty-five years and know that great books come from all kinds of experiences, and from all over the world. They enjoy hearing from as wide a range of aspiring authors as possible.

Brandon Books Submissions

Brandon is open for submissions. Please do not send complete ms. Send samples first. No agent needed.

Brandon is especially looking for:

– Biography/Memoir
– Crime Fiction
– Fiction
– History
– Northern Ireland
– Poetry
– Politics

While they are open to submissions from authors all over the world, they are much more likely to publish authors based in Ireland.
